The number of people poisoned by rolls in Novosibirsk increased to 37 people

The number of people who were poisoned by rolls in a Japanese food delivery service in Novosibirsk increased from ten to 37 people. The agency reports this TASS with reference to the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the region.

It is noted that 29 victims were hospitalized in medical institutions.

In mid-March it became known about acute poisoning after ordering sushi and rolls from one of the delivery services in Novosibirsk. Regional Rospotrebnadzor and the prosecutor’s office became interested in the situation.

All victims were diagnosed with salmonellosis.

The establishment’s operations are currently suspended.

The Investigative Committee of Russia for the Novosibirsk Region opened a criminal case under the article “On the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements.”
