The water in flooded Orsk has receded from 820 houses. Currently, 5.9 thousand residential buildings are flooded in the city. The mayor of the city, Vasily Kozupitsa, announced this in his Telegram channel. At the same time, water continues to rise in Orenburg.

“5,973 residential buildings were flooded. The water receded from 820 houses. 1,223 people remain in 15 temporary accommodation centers, including 191 children. There are enough free places,” the mayor wrote.

The press service of the regional government reported that about 3.6 thousand houses and 4 thousand plots may be flooded in the Orenburg region in the near future. Water in the Urals in the Orenburg region continues to rise. Within 24 hours, the water level will be at its peak: it has already exceeded the critical level by 130 cm, increasing to 1060 cm.
