St. Petersburg set a new record for maximum air temperature for April 10

Leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, Mikhail Leus, said that in St. Petersburg on April 10, the temperature record was broken – the air warmed up to +21.5 degrees. He spoke about this in his Telegram-channel.

According to the expert, the new daily record for April 10 was 4.8 degrees higher than the previous record since 1890. He also noted that yesterday the maximum temperature since the beginning of the year was recorded.

The head of the regional Hydrometeorological Center, Alexander Kolesov, said that April 10 is the earliest date when temperatures above 20 degrees Celsius were observed in St. Petersburg. Until yesterday, Kolesov noted, this temperature was recorded only on April 12.
