Earlier on the portal Ngs.ru appeared information that in Novosibirsk, students began to send notifications demanding to appear at the military commissariat. NSTU said that a number of students received summons “to update the data.”
Such notices were given to 32 students of the Novosibirsk university.
“If they go and update the information, this does not mean that they will be taken to serve,” the NSTU shared the details, noting that they comply with the federal law obliging them to notify students of all the requirements of the military registration and enlistment office (to appear to update the data, extend the delay).
In addition, the Russian university reminded that such notification is practiced every year on a regular basis.
