The court in Khabarovsk sentenced the military to a suspended sentence for spreading fakes about the army

The Khabarovsk garrison military court on Thursday evening passed a sentence on Daniil Frolkin, a soldier who participated in a special military operation, the Important Stories Telegram channel reported (the founder of the publication, IStories fonds, was included by the Ministry of Justice in the register of undesirable organizations and recognized as a foreign agent). He was found guilty of spreading fake news about the army by an organized group for mercenary motives (Part 2 of Article 207 of the Criminal Code) and sentenced to five and a half years of probation. The prosecution asked for six years of real time for the defendant.
Court records state that solution issued by Judge Anton Brylin. No details, including the content of the verdict, have yet been included in the materials.
Reportedly, in the summer of 2022, serviceman Daniil Frolkin told Important Stories that he had shot a civilian in the village of Andreevka, Kyiv region. Returning to Russia, he retired from the army, but soon returned to the service. The investigation has been going on since the end of last year.
