The number of visitors to the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” reached nine million on March 20. The anniversary guest was nine-year-old Andrei Batorov, who came to the Exhibition with his parents and younger sister.

The family now lives in Moscow, but is originally from Buryatia. Father, Stanislav Batorov, works in the IT field. His wife Alexandra Markevich said that the gift came as a complete surprise to them.

The nine millionth visitor and his family were given a tour of the exhibition in Pavilion No. 59, dedicated to the past, present and future of Russian cities. Andrey also received gifts from the ANO “Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements “Russia”” and the state development corporation VEB.RF, including a certificate for a family trip to Lake Baikal.

Andrey Samokhin, Chief Managing Director of VEB.RF, also congratulated the family.

The trip to Baikal for the anniversary visitor promises to be eventful. The program includes an excursion to the husky park, a walk along an eco-trail and a national park – all accompanied by experienced guides.
