The Russian Ministry of Justice has replenished registry foreign agents. It includes Georgy Kunadze, who worked as deputy head of the Russian Foreign Ministry from 1991 to 1993, the editor-in-chief of the Vladimir publication “Dovod” (recognized as a foreign agent) Ilya Kosygin and political scientist Mikhail Savva.
Grounds of the Ministry of Justice for inclusion in the register of foreign agents:
- Georgy Kunadze disseminated information “aimed at creating a negative image” of Russia, as well as “unreliable information” about decisions taken by the Russian authorities. Participated as a respondent on information platforms “provided by foreign structures”;
- Ilya Kosygin, according to the department, distributed materials from foreign agents, “unreliable information” about decisions made by the Russian authorities. The Ministry of Justice indicates that Mr. Kosygin is the editor-in-chief of a publication recognized as a foreign agent. The journalist lives outside of Russia;
- Mikhail Savva participated in the creation of materials by foreign agents, gave interviews on foreign platforms, and disseminated “unreliable information” about the decisions of the Russian authorities and their policies. He opposed the special operation in Ukraine. Mr. Savva, notes the Ministry of Justice, is a member of the Expert Council of the Ukrainian organization. Lives outside of Russia;
