The Ministry of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg commented on reports of “raids” with summons to mobilize reservists, writes “Fontanka”.
The St. Petersburg police said that the information about the delivery by law enforcement officers of subpoenas with an appeal as part of a partial mobilization is not true. “This task is outside the competence of the internal affairs bodies,” the details were shared in the regional headquarters.
Earlier, footage appeared on the network, in which, presumably, employees of the military commissariats, accompanied by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, stand near urban residential complexes and in entrances. According to eyewitnesses, from early in the morning they stopped men leaving their apartments who were about to go to work, and handed them subpoenas calling for military service as part of a partial mobilization.
