Assistant to the head of the Ministry of Health Kuznetsov did not confirm information about paid medical care from September 1
Information that a number of medical services will become paid in the Russian Federation from September 1 does not correspond to reality. This was stated by Assistant Minister of Health Alexei Kuznetsov.
According to Kuznetsov, the disseminated information is “nothing more than an unqualified assessment of the content of the normative act.” He stressed that all types of medical care in the Russian Federation will remain free of charge under the program of state guarantees. This includes emergency, urgent and planned medical care, which is provided in a hospital or outpatient, as well as drug provision in hospitals.
Kuznetsov also clarified that no changes are planned in this area.
