A meteorological phenomenon was recorded in Kazan, which frightened some residents with its unusual shape, resembling a nuclear mushroom. But, as Vechernyaya Kazan clarifies, there is no connection with a nuclear explosion – it is just a cumulonimbus cloud, also known as an anvil.

The publication clarifies that on the evening of August 2, residents of the capital of Tatarstan could observe an amazing sight in the sky. At an altitude of about 12 kilometers, this cumulonimbus cloud collided with a stratosphere restriction, causing it to “spread out” and form a characteristic mushroom-like shape.

Such events are not uncommon and occur in various parts of the world. In part, this impressive sight gives a sense of anxiety, because the mushroom shape is associated with dangerous events.
