The Ministry of Emergency Situations issued an emergency warning about showers and thunderstorms in Moscow

In the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Moscow reportedthat on June 28, heavy rains with a thunderstorm are expected in the capital, and on June 29 – a downpour and a thunderstorm with hail.

“According to forecasts of weather forecasters of Roshydromet, in connection with the passage of an active cyclone and associated atmospheric fronts from 19:00 Moscow time on June 28 to 02:00 Moscow time on June 29, rain is expected in Moscow, sometimes heavy, in some areas there is a thunderstorm,” notes in a departmental statement. The Ministry of Emergency Situations also warns that on Thursday, June 29, a thunderstorm with hail and wind gusts up to 17 m / s is expected in “a number of Moscow districts”, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the weather will deteriorate from 09:00 to 21:00 .

In the capital’s head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Muscovites were asked due to adverse weather conditions “to park cars away from trees, and when driving on the street, bypass billboards and shaky structures, and do not leave children unattended.” In addition, residents and guests of the city, when driving, need to increase the distance from the vehicles in front, avoid sudden maneuvers – overtaking, rebuilding and advancing.
