Deputy Minister of Education of Russia Tatyana Vasilyeva said that new history textbooks for high school students with sections on Russia’s military operation in Ukraine will go to schools by September 1, 2023. They are still being worked on.
“As for new history textbooks, they are being created now. First of all, history textbooks for grades 10-11 are created. They will come to school from September 1,” said Tatyana Vasilyeva “RIA News”.
Former Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov saidthat new history books are planning to release this summer. According to him, they are being developed under the guidance of Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, MGIMO rector Anatoly Torkunov, and historian and academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Chubaryan.
