The Ministry of Education commented on the information that appeared in telegram channels and a number of media outlets that the family of Minister Sergei Kravtsov has real estate in Europe.
“Messages <...> have nothing to do with reality. This is another fake,” the department’s press service said.
They added that “under the conditions of the information war” they perceive these messages “as another attempt to destabilize the internal situation.”
The reports, denied by the department, said that the Czech authorities launched an investigation into real estate in Karlovy Vary, which, according to investigators, belongs to Kravtsov’s relatives. The cost of Karlovy Vary real estate, which has become the subject of proceedings, is estimated at 33 million rubles in terms of Russian currency.
