Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin is not following the case of recognizing the “international LGBT social movement” as extremist. He refused to comment on the case in any way.
“We don’t follow. There are no comments,” said Dmitry Peskov.
Today, November 30, the Supreme Court is considering a lawsuit to recognize the “international LGBT social movement” as an extremist organization. The case is being considered behind closed doors, with only representatives of the Ministry of Justice present in the conference room, which filed the lawsuit to recognize LGBT people as extremist.
The Supreme Court can make a decision in one day of a closed session: thus, it has already satisfied the claims of the Prosecutor General’s Office to recognize the AUE social movement as an extremist organization and the Columbine movement as terrorist (banned in the Russian Federation).
