Deputy Mayor of Moscow Anastasia Rakova spoke about the opening of registration for the “New Addresses of Happiness” sites for 2024

“The Moscow Mayor’s project “New Addresses of Happiness” for registering marriages in unusual places in the capital is actively developing and is popular among the capital’s newlyweds,” notes Deputy Mayor in charge of the social sphere, Anastasia Rakova. – Since 2019, about 48 thousand couples have gotten married at the project sites. More than 9 thousand time slots have already been opened for 2024. When creating a convenient schedule of dates, over 80% of the wishes of the newlyweds were taken into account.”

The number of registration “sessions” in one of the most popular locations, the Spiridonov mansion, was increased by a quarter, the deputy mayor added. Already during the preparation of the sites for the opening, the city authorities received over 1,000 requests from Muscovites wishing to register a marriage in unusual places.

Among the sites, according to Anastasia Rakova, are estates, mansions, Moscow City towers, and stadiums. It is also possible to register a marriage in the air, on water and underground. Now the Spiridonov Mansion, the Federation Tower, the Ostankino TV Tower, the Spartak Stadium and other sites are already available for applications.

To make on-site marriage registration more accessible, Moscow registry offices began to conduct it not only on weekends, but also on weekdays.
