Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin does not know the number of citizens who left under conditions of partial mobilization. However, according to him, the departure of Russians wishing to leave the country takes place in strict accordance with Russian legislation.
“No, I don’t have that number. Indeed, our border service has and should have these figures. I can’t say anything on this issue,” said Mr. Peskov during a press call.
After the partial mobilization announced on September 21 by Russian President Vladimir Putin, in less than a day, citizens bought up all the air tickets to Dubai, Yerevan, Astana and Istanbul for the coming days. At the same time, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation notedthat in the current conditions there are no restrictions on the movement of Russians. Head of Rostourism Zarina Doguzova confirmedthat there are no additional restrictions for Russian citizens who have not received a summons.
Meanwhile, in the FSB toldthat on the border of Russia and Kazakhstan, attempts to pass Russians who are subject to mobilization are stopped. At the Tyumen airport for the first time were introduced restrictions for men to fly abroad.
