Photographer Alexander Paniotov told how in 1999 opera singer Dmitry Hvorostovsky came to Krasnoyarsk and performed a selfless act during his visit, reports “MK in Krasnoyarsk“.
The singer and his wife Florence Illi-Hvorostovskaya were met in their small homeland by Mayor Pyotr Pimashkov. Pimashov was accompanied by a man who, according to Paniotov, was his security guard.
