The IX All-Russian Legal Forum is taking place in Ufa

On November 30, the IX All-Russian Legal Forum began its work in Ufa. The event is dedicated to the celebration of Lawyer Day in the Russian Federation. The forum began with a scientific and practical conference “Dialogues on Private Law”, organized by the Research Center for Private Law named after S.S. Alekseev under the President of the Russian Federation.

Prime Minister of Bashkortostan Andrei Nazarov said that the republic has traditionally been the initiator of many legislative initiatives.

“Our branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia works well, occupying a leading place in the all-Russian ranking,” said Andrei Nazarov.

First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on State Building and Legislation, Irina Pankina, noted that the forum was attended by leading civil experts who will discuss civil liability in the new realities, against the backdrop of modern private law.

The conference was moderated by the chairman of the board of the Research Center for Private Law, member of the Presidential Council of the Russian Federation for the codification and improvement of civil legislation, Lidiya Mikheeva.

According to Mikheeva, the topic of private law today is relevant for those who want to understand by what canons the law and order will regulate this activity.

– We bring for discussion issues of civil liability, which is very important for entrepreneurs of any level. We’ll also talk about how losses are recovered, how one can be forced to fulfill loan obligations, what new types of influence on the parties to a transaction are provided for by civil legislation,” said Mikheeva.

In a conversation with journalists, Lidiya Mikheeva noted that she and her colleagues were delighted with Ufa, adding that Bashkortostan can host the largest and most significant international events.
