Employees of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case after an incident in Lyubertsy, when the owner of a cafe chain refused to let in members of the Union of Volunteers of the Fatherland, and later posted an extremist post on social networks.

As specified in the message of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, an appeal to the head of the department, Alexander Bastrykin, appeared on the Internet from activists claiming that the woman who owns a chain of cafes in Lyubertsy refused to allow participants of the Investigative Committee to enter.

The Investigative Committee has launched a criminal investigation under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, concerning incitement to hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity.

The head of the RF IC, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed the head of the Main Investigation Department for the Moscow Region, Alexander Starikov, to provide information on the progress of the investigation in this case.
