How informs radio Sputnik, candidate of medical sciences, immunologist Nikolai Kryuchkov, in an interview with reporters, said that each new infection of a person with a coronavirus can affect his body in different ways.
“The latest study … showed that … each subsequent COVID-19 disease is more severe in the same person,” the specialist said.
He admitted that this effect is due to the fact that the coronavirus leaves a “trace” in the body, but the body’s compensatory capabilities are not unlimited.
“I don’t recommend anyone to get sick five times. If you have been ill once, twice, and everything went well for you, this does not mean that everything will go smoothly on the third or fourth time,” Kryuchkov warned.
