41% of working Russians have experience of work conflicts, showed survey research center of the Superjob portal. 42% of respondents had conflicts with management, and 37% with subordinates. In all cases, respondents more often named the other party as the initiator, rather than themselves. In general, management is less conflict-ridden and more often willing to acknowledge its initiative in disputes. The survey also revealed that the higher the respondents’ salaries, the fewer reasons they have for quarrels at work.

Conflict at work has been increasing in recent years. Almost every second person surveyed had no quarrels with colleagues or management this year. For comparison, in 2019, 77% of respondents stated that there were no conflicts.
