Russian cycling champion Alexey Tsatevich died at the age of 34, this was reported in the telegram channel of the Russian Cycling Federation.
The cause of the athlete’s death is not known. Tsatevich will be buried on April 10, the farewell will take place in the Alexander Nevsky Church in Verkhnyaya Pyshma.
Tsatevich won the Russian criterium champion title in 2011. He played for the national team as part of the Katyusha and Gazprom-Rusvelo teams. In 2013 he won the annual one-day road cycling race “Le Samin” in Belgium.
