Near the village of Lesotorogovy not far from Orsk, Orenburg Region, another section of the dam broke, a TASS correspondent reported from the scene. Local residents are urgently evacuated.

The village of Lesotorgovy remained one of the unflooded areas in Orsk from the Old Town area. Authorities reported violations of the integrity of the dam and called on local residents to evacuate, but the latter often refused to leave their homes.

Residents of the village, which mainly consists of the private sector, strengthened the dam on their own. The level of the Urals in the area of ​​the village all the time since the beginning of the flood was either slightly lower or at the level with the top point of the dam.

On the evening of April 5, due to heavy floods, the Ural River broke through a dam in Orsk. In the flood zone it turned out more than 6 thousand houses. In the city, the Old Town area, part of the New Town and some villages included in the settlement were flooded. Today, April 8, water began to flow into Orenburg, from where 786 people have already been evacuated. Kremlin named critical situation in the region.
