On the night of August 24, the border guard service of the Yerevan Zvartnots airport did not let Viktor Krivopuskov, head of the Russian Society for Friendship and Cooperation with Armenia, into the country. He himself told TASS about this.

According to Viktor Krivopuskov, he was declared an undesirable person in Armenia, and his passport was also taken away at the airport. “They didn’t show me the official paper, but I understand that if they don’t open the border for me, they don’t return my passport … They said, return to Moscow today,” he said.

In the past, Viktor Krivopuskov was the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Armenia (2009-2013), as well as an adviser to the Russian embassy in Armenia. According to ArmenianHouse.orgin 1990-1991 he headed the headquarters of the investigative-operational group of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region, dealt with the resolution of interethnic conflicts.
