The head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Rostov region, Sergei Filippov, stole a tanker truck to teach his subordinates a lesson in one of the fire departments.

According to telegram channel "112", the incident occurred on March 29. The lieutenant general came to Novoshakhtinsk for an inspection. While visiting one of the fire stations, he saw that special equipment was standing near the building - it was not locked, and the key was in the ignition.

Filippov got behind the wheel and drove away in a tanker truck - his trip was filmed.

“We arrived at the Novoshakhtinsk fire station. Nobody is guarding anything. They got into the car and drove away. I don’t know how to proceed and what to do with such security and with such people,” said the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Rostov region.

According to the source, inspections are currently being carried out in all fire departments in the region. Employees who fail to take care of special equipment face penalties and possibly dismissal.
