The head of the National Center for Informatization (NCI), part of the Rostec structure, Konstantin Solodukhin, told RBC about his appeal to the Investigative Committee and the Main Military Prosecutor’s Office with a demand to check the actions of the Deputy Director of the Department of Information Technologies and Communications of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Denis Kormakov, an expert at the Research Institute ” Sunrise” by Alexey Babanin and employee of the “Central Base of Measuring Equipment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations” Dmitry Belokonev.
Solodukhin requested a review of their actions under criminal charges of large-scale fraud, abuse of power and forgery of documents in the context of the evaluation of the government contract for the creation of the “Safe City” complex. According to Solodukhin, the damage from their actions amounts to more than 670 million rubles, writes RBC.
The Moscow court plans to review the NCI’s claim for payment for the fifth stage of research work for the Ministry of Emergency Situations. After the first four stages of work, no violations were identified, but the Ministry of Emergency Situations refused to pay for the work on the fifth stage due to the ongoing examination.
After an inspection, the Main Military Prosecutor’s Office did not reveal any violations in the expenditure of funds. The comments concerned the use of foreign software, although this did not contradict the technical specifications.
