The head of the Roszdravnadzor Department for Moscow and the Moscow Region, Roman Kurynin, on board a Ural Airlines passenger plane, assisted a flight attendant who had a heart failure during a flight to the capital from Sochi. The plane due to the incident urgently landed in Volgograd, where the flight attendant was sent to the hospital.
“During the flight, one of the flight attendants became ill: the woman lost consciousness due to cardiac arrest. Roman Kurynin immediately began emergency resuscitation, including chest compressions (eight minutes),” RBC in the press service of the Moscow Department of Roszdravnadzor.
25 minutes later, the plane made an emergency landing in Volgograd, where an ambulance resuscitation team was already waiting for it, which took the woman to the city hospital for further treatment, the ministry said.
Roman Kurynin has been heading the Roszdravnadzor department for Moscow and the Moscow region since August 2020. Prior to that, he was an assistant to the head of Rospotrebnadzor and the Minister of Health of the Tver Region.
