Muscovite who threw out her one-year-old daughter from the eleventh floor was sent for treatment

The Moscow City Court decided to send a 27-year-old woman for compulsory treatment, who in November 2022 threw her one-year-old daughter out of the window of the 11th floor.
The press service of the Moscow prosecutor’s office informed that, according to the results of a comprehensive forensic psychological and psychiatric examination, the woman suffers from a mental disorder. Representatives of the supervisory authority explained the decision of the court by the fact that the identified disorder deprived the woman of the ability to realize the actual nature and social danger of her actions.
She will be treated in a specialized hospital.
On November 8, 2022, a woman threw her daughter out of a window on the 11th floor of a house in Sumsky Proyezd, after which, as it was reported, she tried to commit suicide.
The girl died the next day in the hospital.
