Experts assess the situation with the incidence of influenza and ARVI in Russia as stable, said the head of the Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko. At the same time, according to him, there is an increase in the incidence of coronavirus in the country.
Speaking about the flu, he said that the number of cases of infection increased during the beginning of the school year, when children returned to school. “Now the situation is stabilizing. And even to a certain extent it began to decline… But in some other regions there is still a slight increase,” Mr. Murashko said in an interview with Naila Asker-zade (quoted by TASS).
In the case of COVID-19, the minister noted that the number of hospitalizations is small. “Of course, there is still a certain increase in incidence due to the new coronavirus infection. But I want to say that its course does not have such an aggressive development format,” added Mikhail Murashko.
