Avito added a forecast to promotion using AI algorithms

Now sellers will be able to determine the budget and promotion strategy on the platform, the company’s press service explained. The new algorithm will allow users to know in advance the range of views that will be received for promotion.
Artificial intelligence promotes an ad in search and recommendations and builds a forecast based on the promotion of similar ads.
“More than three million professional sellers post their products, services and vacancies on Avito. It is important for each of them to manage their sales. In particular, increase them using effective promotion tools. That’s why we consistently invest in creating smart and predictable algorithms. We are launching one of these algorithms today,” said Ivan Zimin, Director of Monetization and Merchant Experience.
The company explained that customers can choose the desired number of days of service – from 1 to 30 days. You can also choose seven budget options for the day.
According to AI calculations, ads will be shown to users who are more likely to complete a transaction. The forecast includes unique views: multiple visits by one person during the day will be counted as one.
First, the new option will be available to sellers of the “Services” and partially “Products” verticals. Next, it will appear at all professional sellers.
