As part of the unified state exam (USE) and the main state exam (OGE), students will continue to test the knowledge of classical literature, said the head of the Ministry of Education, Sergei Kravtsov. He promised that the works of the classics in both exams will be left.

Last week, a demo version of the USE codifier in literature was published, which did not contain the main works until the second half of the 19th century. Rosobrnadzor assuredthat the works of the Golden Age are not excluded from the exam and can be used in some tasks. State Duma Committee asked The Ministry of Education to explain the decision to remove some of the classics, including Alexander Pushkin, from the state exam program.
