The head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova said “RIA News”that today in Russia there is no reason to introduce a mask regime.
Earlier today, September 16, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reportedthat restrictions against the spread of COVID-19 will again begin to apply in the Government House. Starting September 18, employees will be required to use masks and respirators in the building.
At the end of August in Russia and the world started the incidence of COVID-19 is increasing. Over the last week of August in the Russian Federation, the incidence of coronavirus increased by 30%. The wave of COVID-19 is growing throughout the world, and in certain regions – the Middle East, Asia and Europe – the number of deaths is also increasing. Last week in Russia recorded 7,688 coronavirus cases, 1,636 hospitalizations and 10 deaths.
Meanwhile, Rospotrebnadzor also expects an increase in the number of flu infections by the end of the year. Ms. Popova reported that a flu vaccination campaign has started in the Russian Federation, during which it is planned to vaccinate at least 60% of the population.
