According to the approval of the project of the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin, which was prepared by the Ministry of Industrial Economy, a “point system” is being introduced for the computer technology market. From now on, Russian servers and data storage systems (SHD) will not necessarily need to have domestic processors in order to enter the state order market. This is reported “Kommersant”.
For two years, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has been discussing with the industry the introduction of a point system to determine the “domestic” technology. This means that points will be awarded for each technological operation during production, and the results will determine whether the device has scored enough points to be included in the registry.
In addition, the amendments proposed the division of all radio electronics into two levels, depending on the presence of a Russian processor in them. It is noted that the equipment of both levels will go to the markets of the state order.
