A gang of criminals who issued fictitious certificates of registration in the Moscow region, as well as other fake migration documents, were neutralized by police officers in Balashikha, near Moscow. The group included employees of the migration department, entrepreneurs and even teachers.

As MK learned, the group has been operating since January 2022. In total, more than 1,500 people were illegally registered – mainly in Balashikha and Reutovo. The fictitious registration was carried out under the guise of the Bureau of Migration Services. By the way, the organizer of the company, a 47-year-old woman, had previously been convicted of similar crimes.

In addition to the lady, her husband, 18-year-old son, 26-year-old daughter and numerous accomplices were detained, including the head of a Russian language learning center and the owners of “rubber” apartments in which foreigners were registered. Also detained was the head of the territorial office of the migration department of the Balashikha Municipal Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with the rank of major. During the search, 2.2 million rubles and 10 thousand dollars were confiscated from her, and her 37-year-old subordinate, an inspector with the rank of captain.
