The FSB of Russia reported that investigators uncovered a criminal group of corrupt officials, whose members were senior officials of the Ministry of Economic Development and businessmen of the Stavropol Territory.
According to investigators, the detainees were planning a raider takeover of the enterprise and illegally terminated the license for the extraction of mineral water. The group was also involved in theft of natural gas on a particularly large scale.
During searches in the Moscow region and Stavropol region, investigators seized weapons, cash and premium cars.
