The fine for the absence of an Abkhaz insurance policy for cars with Russian license plates entering the republic is planned to be raised to 5 thousand rubles, said Akhra Ketsba, deputy director of the national company Garant-Insurance. Now it is 600 rubles.
Ketzba said the increased fine should be “an incentive to buy insurance.”
