The fight for the Golden Puck has begun in the Lipetsk region.
Today, January 31, the regional stage of the All-Russian competition for young hockey players “Golden Puck” opened at the Ice Arena in the village of Khrushchevka, Lipetsk region.
Teams from the cities of Lipetsk, Yelets, Lipetsk and Zadonsk regions met on the ice. Competitions are held in three age groups. The matches have already been played by teams born in 2009-2010 and 2013-2014. Tomorrow, February 1, teams born in 2011-2012 will enter the competition. The first match starts at 9:30.
As the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Lipetsk Region explains, “Golden Puck” is one of the largest mass physical education projects for children and adolescents implemented in Russia. More than 83 regions, more than 49 thousand children and adolescents and more than 2.7 thousand coaches throughout Russia participate in it.
The winning teams will represent the Lipetsk region at the All-Russian stage of the competition.
