The Federation Council approved the law on the exemption from criminal liability of participants in a special military operation.
The law will make it possible to exempt from criminal liability mobilized and contract soldiers who, before entering the service, committed minor crimes. It will be possible to obtain exemption from criminal liability for a serviceman from the day of dismissal from service.
At the same time, it is clarified that the norm will apply only to those who committed crimes or began to serve their sentences before the law came into force.
In addition, this law will also grant the right to enter into contracts with the RF Ministry of Defense for limited military service.
