Actress from “Matchmakers” Anna Koshmal was ridiculed in Moldova for refusing to speak Russian
Ukrainian actress Anna Koshmal, known to viewers from the TV series “Matchmakers,” spoke about her unpleasant impressions from visiting Moldova. TSN.ua writes about this.
The artist stated that she was passing through Chisinau, where she met local residents who were pro-Russian. And they ridiculed her for refusing to speak Russian.
Anna was returning from a vacation to Ukraine. She flew to Chisinau by plane, and from there she had to go home. But she still had free time to walk around the capital of the republic.
This left Koshmal with not the most pleasant impressions. In particular, the celebrity was shocked that she was ridiculed for refusing to speak Russian, and was also called an actress from the Russian Federation.
“In this short time, several situations have already happened here when, due to my reluctance to speak Russian, people rolled their eyes or laughed (for example, an airport worker whom I asked for help in finding my bag). As it turned out, they know me very well here, even too much. They recognized me everywhere and some even said that I was a Russian actress,” Anna was indignant.
Let us remind you that Koshmal played the role of Zhenya Kovaleva in seasons 5-7 of the popular Russian TV series “Matchmakers”.
