The number of visitors to the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia”, which operates at VDNKh and represents the advanced achievements of Russian regions, economic sectors and large companies, on April 6 exceeded 10 million people.

The ten millionth visitor was Konstantin Panfilov from Yaroslavl; he came to the exhibition with his wife Ekaterina. The family received a certificate for a trip to Murmansk and Teriberka with a visit to the world’s first ship with a nuclear power plant – the nuclear icebreaker Lenin and one of the universal nuclear icebreakers of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Atomflot. December 3, 2024 will mark the 65th anniversary of the flag raising at Lenin. During the trip, the family will also have the opportunity to visit the Kola Nuclear Power Plant.

“On April 4, we celebrated five months since the start of our work,” says Natalya Virtuozova, general director of the ANO “Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements “Russia”.” “The secret of the popularity of the exhibition is that all of Russia does it; all our exhibitors are partial to it. We have united the whole country and are showing what we are proud of. There is an atmosphere of love and pride here – that’s what attracts people.” According to Natalya Virtuozova, “any day now” a “large-scale spring-summer program” will be presented: “Everything is just beginning for us!”

The nine millionth visitor to the exhibition on March 20 was Andrey Batorov from Buryatia. “Russia” collected its first 500 thousand visitors in four days of work, from November 4 to 8. The exhibition was originally supposed to run until April 12, but President Vladimir Putin later proposed extending it until July 8. Throughout the event, VDNKh guests will enjoy a cultural, entertainment, business and educational program.
