Alexander Gradsky passed away in the fall of 2021, and his inheritance still cannot be divided among his relatives. On the one hand, everything seems to be simple: property is divided between parents, spouse and children. But sometimes ex-wives begin to claim something decades after the divorce. A similar situation is now happening in the Gradsky inheritance case.

It turned out that the singer’s previous wife Olga declared her right to part of the ex-husband’s property. They broke up 20 years ago, and after that Gradsky was in a relationship with Marina Kotashenko for 17 years. In 2021, Marina officially married the singer.

According to rumors, Alexander Gradsky left behind three apartments, two cars, several plots of land and another luxurious house in the suburbs. Some experts estimate the state at 600 million rubles.

In Moscow, a meeting was held on the inheritance case. “MK” turned to Marina Gradskaya’s lawyer Larisa Shirokova to find out at what stage the property division process is now.

– Indeed, a meeting on this case was held. Since the hearings are closed, we cannot discuss the details of the process, although there is nothing secret in this story. There is a standard judicial procedure, the parties refute each other’s positions, proving their own innocence, there are interrogations of witnesses. The hearing has now been postponed until September.

– Does Gradsky’s ex-wife really want to receive part of the inheritance?

– This question is better addressed to the plaintiff herself and her children. My trustee Marina and the younger sons of Alexander Borisovich are the defendants in the case, we are the side that is forced to defend itself: to present evidence, to refute the information on which the opposite side bases its position.

– It is known that Gradsky’s eldest son, who supports his mother’s side, appears in the case. And who supports Marina?

– The son is really taking an active part in the lawsuit. At the same time, we can say with confidence that all close friends of Alexander Borisovich are very supportive of Marina and the kids, and this is already a lot to establish the truth in the case.
