Tamara Gverdtsiteli has not appeared in Russia for more than two years. The star left Moscow even before the start of the SVO. Now the singer lives in Georgia and rarely indulges in her public appearances. But the other day she made an exception, visiting her longtime friend, stylist George Rovals. The singer spoke about Russia that evening and decided to change her image.

Not long ago, a terrible tragedy happened in Gverdtsiteli’s life: her beloved mother, for whose life she had fought for several months, died. After this, the singer withdrew into herself and did not go on stage for a long time.

“Naturally, when you lose a loved one, the world changes completely,” continues Rovals. “Many people, after such tragedies, completely withdraw into themselves. Tamara is a strong woman. She knows that she has no right to withdraw into herself. The people demand her, miss her.

According to Rovals, Tamara has not changed at all during her absence from Russia: she is just as good-natured and positive.

“She’s not capricious at all,” Rovals explains. – I completely changed her image. I used to argue with her all the time. “A sleek hairstyle doesn’t suit you, you need volume, fluffiness.” This time she listened to me. When she looked in the mirror after the transformation, she was happy. “How twenty years have passed!” – said Tamara.

“Now in our show business it’s unclear who sings and how they sing,” says Rovals. – Tamara doesn’t like it either. She never left. She was simply having a moment of mourning.
