Netanyahu: IDF eliminated 19 of 24 Hamas battalions in six months
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the Israel Defense Forces had eliminated 19 and 24 battalions of the radical Palestinian movement Hamas in the six months since the start of hostilities in the Gaza Strip.
Senior commanders were also liquidated, Netanyahu said. He reported that Israeli forces had captured a significant number of movement members and cleared many headquarters, as well as destroyed missile, weapons and ammunition factories.
