Head of the Ministry of Transport of Crimea Lukashenko: traffic jam at the entrances to the Crimean bridge began to decrease
Traffic jams at the entrances to the Crimean bridge have significantly decreased. The Minister of Transport of the Republic of Crimea Nikolay Lukashenko informed about this in his Telegram channel.
According to him, as of 11 p.m. Saturday, the length of the traffic jam from the Kuban side was about five kilometers, the waiting time was up to three hours. At the same time, the delay when traveling from Crimea did not exceed 20 minutes, and the traffic jam stretched for three hundred meters.
Earlier, the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory reported the formation of a nine-kilometer traffic jam. By 17.00, it had decreased by 1.5 kilometers; at that moment, people spent up to 5 hours driving from the Kuban side.
The Department of Private Security of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation announced the formation of queues due to an increase in the number of cars and luggage subject to inspection. To speed up the process, drivers were asked to place their belongings in bags convenient for unloading in advance.
