Shares of the Lipetsk confectionery factory “Roshen”, owned by ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and his son Alexey, will be transferred to the Russian Federation. This decision was made by the Oktyabrsky Court of Lipetsk, the court reported.
“The court decided to transfer the shares of Lipetsk Confectionery Factory JSC to the state,” the court said.
The shares in the authorized capital of Roshen, the general director of the factory Oleg Kazakov, were also transferred to the income of the Russian Federation. The activities of Poroshenko, his son and Kazakov, according to a court decision, are prohibited in Russia due to their extremist activities.
The Roshen factory was founded in 1996 after the privatization of the Kyiv confectionery factory named after. K. Marx. Poroshenko acquired the Lipetsk factory in 2001. In 2016, the factory’s property was seized
