The Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow issued a decision to seize a giant bribe from the former head of the investigative department of the ICR for the Tverskoy district of the capital, Marat Tambiev. This was reported by the press service of the Moscow City Court.
Recall that a former employee of the Investigative Committee was detained while receiving a bribe in the amount of 10 million rubles. During the investigation, law enforcement officers seized Tambiev’s laptop. In it, they found a folder called “Pension” with codes from crypto wallets. 1032.1 bitcoins were found on the accounts, the value of which is equivalent to 23980843, or 1.662 billion rubles. at the then current rate. Later, a member of the hacker group, whose case was investigated by Tambiev, testified that it was he who handed over the money to the investigator.
First Deputy Prosecutor General Anatoly Razinkin filed a lawsuit for the confiscation of proceeds of crime.
By a court decision, the digital currency owned by Marat Tambiev will be turned into the income of the Russian Federation. However, the decision did not enter into force.
