The court in Yekaterinburg ordered the organizers of the Max Barsky concert to compensate for the cost of tickets

The Leninsky District Court of Yekaterinburg ordered the Ladoshki Show company, which organized the canceled concert of the singer Max Barsky, to return the money for the purchased tickets to the client. This was reported by the press service of the department of Rospotrebnadzor for the Sverdlovsk region.
Initially, the concert was supposed to take place in Yekaterinburg on September 23, 2020, but later it was postponed twice due to the coronavirus pandemic. Then the new date was April 16, 2022, however, as the media noted, the performer did not perform in Russia.
It is clarified that the court satisfied the stated requirements in part: the cost of tickets to consumers will be returned in full, but the amount of non-pecuniary damage will be reduced by the decision of the judge from the declared 5 thousand to 300 rubles. According to the department, the cost of tickets was from 2.5 to 7.5 thousand rubles. It will be returned to six applicants.
Also in favor of 24 consumers will be paid fines issued by the court for refusing to satisfy the stated requirements voluntarily.
