The court arrested the director of the company that organized the work of the burned-out cafe “Polygon”

The Sverdlovsk District Court of Kostroma arrested for two months the director of the Empire company, Natalya Belonogova, who was in charge of the Polygon cafe, where 13 people died during a fire on November 5, TASS reports. A criminal case was initiated against her under the article on the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements (Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

As before informed The Investigative Committee, on the fact of the fire, also initiated a criminal case of negligence. According to the investigation, the responsible persons had not carried out security checks in the cafe building for a long time, so the fire protection in the building was not provided. The persons involved in the criminal case under this article are not named. As before wrote “Kommersant”, the investigation interrogated the deputy of the regional Duma Ikhtiyar Mirzoev, who headed LLC “Polygon”.

In addition, there was interrogated the alleged perpetrator of the arson is, according to the Baza project, 23-year-old Stanislav Ionkin. He participated in the fighting in Ukraine, during which he received a shell shock, and on August 22 he arrived in Kostroma. During a conflict with visitors to the cafe, he shot at the ceiling with a Hunter’s Signal rocket launcher and fled. He was detained by the police 6 km from the cafe.
