The Gagarinsky Court of Moscow arrested public figure Leonid Gozman in absentia (recognized as a foreign agent in Russia) in the case of disseminating false information about the Russian army (Part 1 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), reports press service Moscow courts.
In September 2022, Leonid Gozman (recognized as a foreign agent in Russia) was twice brought to administrative responsibility for fakes about the Russian army. The reason was the publication of a public figure on social networks. After administrative arrests, the politician left Russia. A criminal case has been opened against him for fake news about the army. According to Part 1 of Art. 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation faces up to five years in prison.
Leonid Gozman (recognized as a foreign agent in Russia) was an adviser to Yegor Gaidar and Anatoly Chubais. He is one of the former leaders of the Union of Right Forces and Right Cause parties.
