A soldier of one of the units of the volunteer corps of the Southern Group of Forces with the call sign “Tatar” said that about 200 civilians remain in Avdievka, and the Russian military has already begun to provide them with humanitarian assistance and organize heating centers.
According to the Russian fighter, as of now, “there are about 200 people left in Avdeevka, several hundred.” He pointed out that people are still afraid to return. As “Tatarin” noted, now everything is calm in the liberated city, and his “Night Wolves” unit is bringing humanitarian aid and sharing everything it can with civilians.
The fighter added that somewhere it was even possible to organize heat for those who remained in their houses, so that people could at least feel safe somewhere. “Tatarin” claims that military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) oppressed civilians, and there were cases when citizens disloyal to Kyiv were killed. He concluded that the remaining civilians were glad that the Russian military had arrived.
